The 2026 5th International Conference on Applied Mechanics and Advanced Materials (ICAMAM 2026) was held in Xi'an from January 22 to 24, 2026. The event brought together nearly 100 renowned experts and scholars in the fields of applied mechanics and advanced materials. Participants engaged in in-depth discussions on the latest research trends and technological frontiers within these disciplines, effectively fostering deep integration and collaborative development between academia and industry. The conference was hosted by the Xi'an Key Laboratory of Advanced Aircraft Structure Design and Application and Guangzhou City University of Science and Technology. It was organized by the Shaanxi Provincial “Lightweight Multifunctional Metamaterial Design” Science and Technology Innovation Team and the Shaanxi Provincial “Aircraft Composite Structure Design and Application” Science and Technology Industrial Innovation Center.
